In the Gita it is said by the Lord that his lower nature consists of the 5 elements, mind, understanding, and ahamkara. The higher nature is the self on which everything is strung like rows of gems on a string. And this higher nature is God, one and the same in all , the Real Self.
Most of us die in our lower nature without realizing the higher.

None of what you say is untrue, when you say it as a conscious being. We each can see things as we want or do.
The important thing to notice is that what or how we see things changes... Yoga is when the changing comes to stop.
