I have given this some thought.

"I have you in the past you didn't notice.  I don't drive anymore (what a relief,  I never realized that I would be greatful for not having to drive) now as I ride down the bike paths I see the litter both organic and inorganic,  both are a blight on the country side."

Which is the blight?  The obtrusive bike path laden with creosote and carcinogenic concrete with ample "weed" killing ingredients and lawn mower belching to keep it trim, or the banana peel?
