Re: [Mind's Eye] Re: Why Has Allan Been Barred From The Group ?

*dying laughing* Putin? Wow.

No, I have no desire to "whip the group into shape". In fact, the only reason I engaged in the conversation to begin with was because of the concerns presented regarding how Allen was treated.

I hate to correct you, Neil, but correcting other's words in Chris's understanding is Rugby and is being promoted as to bring him fame on obnoxi.us. Add the Cricket layer and enter the backend and you'll see the grammar reformation before things are allowed to be presented on the frontend. Then you get the game.

I suppose I have come to associate more violence and nasty offence
amongst the 'mannered',les saluds, as it were, than those venting
frustration in the effs and jeffs, to the point I think the first
insult is to restrict others' words.  This said, SNERTS remain
despicable.  I'm afraid we would have excluded Dillon Thomas and my
own favourite master of comic swearing, the lamented Hovis Presley.
Just before Orn's ox jaw-bone fell, Allan was being invited to that
most quaint of English pastimes cricket by two of us.  Cricket is the
most violent game I ever played, masked by etiquette.  Rugby didn't
come close and American Football is for padded pansies in comparison.
In the more vicious games the 'sledgeing' moves to entirely
disparaging comment about one'smother.  There was always a handshake
at the bar.  And this is what's missing here.
