Yet notions like soul have impinged more on most of human
consciousness than such stuff as dark matter that science now seems to
be "photographing". The notion of the souls returning to god and
whether this return is unconscious or carries some form of experience
information with it rings with notions in physics as to whether the
universe does this at its end - is the information experience of the
universe carried through "the big shrink". The maths suggests only
quantum fluctuations may survive.
Gnostics believe creation is a mistake and the idea is to live
decently and return to nothingness. I wonder what we can divine in
speculation rather than find with certainty.
