One way to purse the lips=impasto, I venture. Am working on a figure
portrait at the moment and am stuck with the background and whether to
do her nude or dressed.//"Make-up" = paint, doesn't it? I hate painted
fingernails because they hide all the germs beneath plus I keep nails
short to feel the piano keys, etc. Two vivid memories of my mother are
her laborious painting of hot red nails and the rubber smell of her
girdle versus the nuns! lol Hands are such fantastic tools.//Just
