Hello Mardi. All old topics are available for discussion. You just have to reply to them to reopen them.

From time to time I'd drop in to see what you all were talking about for an interesting topic to drop into. (Or as my grammar-obsessed father would insist I word it: "into which to drop")--
recently I saw a couple of topics that looked interesting and thought when I had a moment I'd post a quick comment or two. But before I could get around to it, the topics had been closed. I would have liked to have said something on "meaning" and certainly on "cats" as we have 6 of them and 4 dogs.
Is it not sufficient to just let topics become old and ignored? Then I could still bring one back to life when I had the time to comment? Is closing them out necessary? I don't think I will ever be able to actually get into some of these conversations if they close out rather than just get old and without interested participants. I can deal with uninterested participants - just post an interesting comment and someone will be bound to say something!
Just asking about the new management style.
hope to "see" you all around sometime
