One moment you think of Earth and the next you think of a star 10 light years away --speed of thought works out to 10 light years per second. Again one moment you think of a chair and the next of the table --speed of thought works out to 1 ft per second. So according to your system of measurement speed of thought becomes highly variable. I am not impressed !
