I have started to hear reaction from banks world-wide regarding Bitcoin that I find very revealing. The central bank in China has started to treat Bitcoin seriously and unlike the many other "scams" that they ignore, they have now banned Bitcoin. The banks in the "free world" have unfortunately stopped to treat it as one of the many "scams" that they normally tolerate and are instead treating it seriously. This to me is a lot more troublesome that the reaction from China. It tells me that the western banksters are considering jumping on the Bitcoin bandwagon. What a shame.
But of course the reactions are very predictable. We have professional "economists" who are too afraid to voice their support of Bitcoin for fear of rocking the boat and speaking out against the opinions of their bosses who of course know nothing else but to support the conventional form of economics which without banks make absolutely no sense what so ever. We have ignorant and arrogant "thinkers" that claim Bitcoin to be a "scam" just because they were disappointed to find that they couldn`t sell their "creations" with Bitcoin. We have ignorant and arrogant academics who parrot whatever phrases that ignorant academics chant in a language that only academics understand. All of these people claim to be "thinkers" and claim to want to understand this crazy world and make some sense of it and perhaps change it for the better. I find it all frustrating and disgusting. It reminds me of the story of slaves who refused their freedom because they felt "safer" with their "masters" who fed them crumbs.

It seems important to find ways to keep our earnings (and support our families), not loose them to the bwankers. Don't know how possible it is, unless you buy low, sell high and invest in tangibles not accessible by the government. As currency is devalued, so are our homes and trade-able services. Very few investments will hold their value during major economic fluctuations and it is easy to loose our shirts. Where to keep our money so that it does not become prey to the predator is still the good question.
