What you are describing here is again the luck-time-span and does not explain how these incidents add up to the Destiny-time-span, while it is understood that God stands for absolute presence. The nature hook that Shakespeare describes, with us better being the observers and actors at the same time to be able to enjoy the ride, does have the quality of your Destiny feature, doesn't it? The evolution of man is not so mystical as some make it to be, I find.

What you choose to do is preceded by specific chemical activity in the brain , every thought of decision is preceded by such activity , you are not the master of the body rather your body is your master. What we think and do depends upon many factors and our will obeys such factors , look on your reflexes for example they seem to have a will of their own. Our will to control and improve ourselves comes from within us and is a trait in our make-up , we are getting an indication of our bondage from current study of our genetic disposition and the advancement in artificial intelligence. Just as our features are determined by our genes , our character traits are also determined by our genes.Just as the environment alters our features , the biological , psychological and sociological environment alters our character traits.Psychosis are behavioral disorders but they stem from chemical imbalance , correct that balance through medicines and the behavior becomes normal in due course. It is said that man lives out his karma , i.e. he has to bear the fruits of his past actions. This presupposes that man was free to do what he did , there was and is freedom of will. But this is a debatable question and many thinkers believe and our forays into artificial intelligence suggest that everything happens in its own course and freedom of will is just an illusion. We may say that man does not live out his karma , rather he plays out his Destiny.--
