Mind's Eye Location change

Am talking with a friend (geek type) that has a couple of servers. I asked him what it would take to set us up a private has (bulletin board service) and the cost .
He said because he owned the server he could even create sub groups if we wanted. Our choice. He said he could run it through his service provider there would be no extra cost.
Good price.
