Aliens live somewhere we can barely imagine.  Somewhere darker than dark matter and dark energy.  They trace origin to a star not unlike the Sun, long lapsed to red giant and shrunk to white dwarf.  This is no 'origin' at all, only a place of early flight, the universe itself now visited only as an energy source and question on origin and development.  Leaving space-time led  to new qualities of life with machine rationality, compassion, pleasure, purpose and conscious development.  Visiting our galaxy to work on a dark flow tap of vacuum energy using power from supernova explosions near the Milky Way core, they also intend two-way communication with Earth.  We have been monitored for centuries through dark field scanning.  Much speculation and ironic mirth on the size of the human brain ensued - so big with so little achievement.  Human language communicates little other than deception and gossip.  

The story goes on.  Do such aliens confront something like Facilitator as an artist?
