Re: Mind's Eye The fairytale entities

I'm with Tony on the reboot - though the main questions concern who we could trust to do it and do the maintenance.  Science is not as free of cultural conditions as it claims and establishes its own.  Part of this is deep cynicism on various Idols in our personal and cultural development tradition.  We have such as anthropology - but seem to find it difficult to realise the extent we are still trapped in the superstition we find in primitive societies.

In mice, we have found molecular blocks to memory that prevent learning and seem to be responsible for dementia conditions.  Remove these and the memory and learning situation improves - so learning becomes me and Allan with his silver hammer and my Femto laser scalpel!  The only problem is getting this past Gabby and her ethics committee ...

There is uptake of RP's 'egg' in science - 'the evolving universe'.

I hear many young people cynical on our politics and the 'cure' offered being to attack that cynicism.  My guess is they have the situation mostly right and we should be attending to providing better opportunities for them to work some new practices out.

In most of what is wrong we can talk forever on solution getting nowhere because we won't address the 'economics', this subject itself the major block to new action.  I'm not sure on educating the soulless Allan, but we do seem to be educating people to be ignorant and act without soul.

Science broadly operates with defeasible logic, leaving us able to contest basic assumptions and inquiry structures (RP's conventional teachings).  This works through its own fairytale structure, open to restructuring.  We have, as Molly says, to find ways to let the dross slip away.  We have to get used to strong and weak facts and rules and undercutters.

Much of our public argument is either so ignorant (newsrooms) or full of idiot savant obsession that can only work by excluding the obvious that one cannot proceed in any honest manner within it.  Some of the assumptions resemble this:
'The receptivity of the great masses is very limited, their intelligence is small, but their power of forgetting is enormous. In consequence of these facts, all effective propaganda must be limited to a very few points and must harp on these in slogans until the last member of the public understands what you want him to understand by your slogan. As soon as you sacrifice this slogan and try to be many-sided, the effect will piddle away, for the crowd can neither digest nor retain the material offered. In this way the result is weakened and in the end entirely cancelled out.'

Mein Kampf chapter 6 repeated every two minutes in specific form in our newsrooms and much teacher training.  The product is Bimbolene, an organic Nylon.

Conventional teachings must be challenged if there is scientific evidence to the contrary but on a few occasions the science is wrong as proved by newer discoveries, and it is found that the traditional teaching was correct. Mostly traditional beliefs are based on observations and statistical support from earlier civilizations , and modern science is proved to be wrong by science itself.

The similarity between beliefs are truly amazing, people seem to want to find differences rather than the common ground mostly saying the same thing different words ..  some times the words others use actually can clarify ideas and concepts.

It is to reach a zombie state when it come traditional beliefs. It is easy to become donkey nodders unwilling to challenge the conventional teachings.

We must remember that the "First Entity" or you may call it "The Cosmic Egg" came from something which you may call the Spirit and hence it was created.
It is from that that everything evolved. As for extinction, everything that is born  will also die , this universe will also be annihilated but that is not the end. Universes are born and die and the process continues in eternity. Creation with its never ending chain of universes is unborn like the Spirit and continues in eternity.

"The predominant religion in the world today is ignorance".  Even though our brains are big compared to other species this has not improved our social conscience.

Some foundations that need to be established:
Are we evolved or created?
If evolved then we are fine, heading in the direction that will eventually lead to extinction, and this is a natural process.
If we are created then we are in trouble and in desperate need of a reboot.
