Re: Mind's Eye Re: God

I forget.  Now I can feel good doing it.  Dog logic failed this morning.  Maxwell lost his ball.  Our cat does not think too much of log dogic.  Hisstory was best told by Jake the Snake in the 'Sooty Show'.  The stupid dog in that show was the only one who knew what was going on.  Sweep was his name.  The lady glove puppet in the show had the character name Sue.  She was last seen boarding a flight to Berlin.  Best prose of the day, as ever.  Did I follow the logic?  Let's forget.

You know what is worse than being scientifically clueless on consciousness? Forgetfulness! I could swear I once wrote something on God in a process of reverse imageering being instumentalized as Dog! Gone! I cannot find it anymore! I want to believe I am missing the right keywords. So there is nothing left I could hold against the dog logic that rules here. I find relief in my pol not forgetting her kitty and RP keeping up hisstory of God.

Might be of interest to anyone needing to know we are still scientifically clueless on consciousness.

I hope we have some intelligent purpose, though we may believe this for purposes of comfort.  I expect Allan and I have been in a few holes with little more than belief left, but this is not the same as modernity driven by superiority and misplaced certainty in our models.

Even the notion of creation is problematic.  Big bang seems an incident in a much longer history.  Belief does not help when one is underestimating complexity, as in many big modernisation programmes.

The best a man can do is to talk about his beliefs but people who have a closed mind think that it is shoving down their throats , a very negative attitude indeed. A person has to learn , unlearn and then relearn and I don't think that a person with a negative attitude can do any of these.
