Mind's Eye The big nothing

Zero ( 0 ).   A non-existent number the big nothing and has no value the same as God or so my Atheist  friends say; in a way they are right, except " Zero " ( 0 ) is a whole odd number; that is the transition point between the positive ( +  ) and negative ( - ) numbers AND without this whole odd number our whole mathematical system doesn't  work.

Any thoughts or questions (hopefully intelligent ones)
