Mind's Eye Re: Politics and economics

The problem with trying to discuss politics is that everyone should be
entitled to their say combined with most of it being based in false
consciousness. You can find a fair exposition of what's going on here

- and though I'm sure most people haven't much clue on doing hard work
in thought, I'm more upbeat than zerohedge because I think we have
even more wrong than regularly suggested there. This includes our
serf-mentality in which we haven't realised decent lives for all could
be easily achieved through fairly low amounts of work because of
knowledge and technology. We have no politicians talking about this.

One of the small measures you can take to begin to understand is to
count the number of "experts" on TV in a week who say more than anyone
watching news broadcasts could - the answer is usually none.
