HI Rigsy,

I do remember Internet battle glory from days gone by. In the earliest
days, on BBS systems, it was probably warranted, as I was a young gay
man in a sea of homophobes. I learned how to write effectively because
I had to defend myself, and to that extent I learned 10,000 ways to tell
someone they were ignorant, stupid and unwanted; the young fag had
teeth, ha. Since that time I've grown pacifistic and mostly unconcerned
with what other people think and believe. I have a more collaborative
writing ethic than I used to, and prefer to address issues in
partnership with others. I still like a good quarrel, but without the
James Bond poison darts of my youth.
