Allan, actually "do no harm" is the central belief for Buddhist and Hindu religious traditions. Of course there are a lot of other beliefs and practices and philosophical discussions - I mean a whole lot more!! But the core belief of "do no harm" is really the first and most important basis of any spirituality, any true humanity, any truly meaningful living.

You don't need to study or try to understand any of the rest of it if you set your mind and heart to live honestly by the personal goal of "do no harm." I totally agree with you on that
